The excitement of visiting a working modern farm attracts many visitors to us on a regular basis.
For many visitors it's all about turning up on the farm doors to visit around the farm. Unfortunately for us it is not as simple as this. The bio-security of our farm means a lot to us for the well being and safety of our animal's health.
We request all visitors to kindly refer to the following guidelines when planning to visit us;
All visits must be authorised by our inhouse veterinary doctor, farm manager and supervised by our team members.
There are certain times of the year when the government's department for animal welfare issues warnings of virus and disease outbreaks, under no circumstances we allow any farm visitors during such outbreaks. We request all visitors and field representatives to strictly refrain from visiting the farm during disease outbreaks.
We are unable to accommodate visits over the weekend (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
Please DO NOT visit us if you have been to another farm or have been in contact with cattle on the day prior to visiting us.
We welcome visits from schools in moderate group sizes.
We always welcome to team up with field partners for educational, research and other mutually beneficial projects.
